The Museu Valencià d'Etnologia focuses its educational offer on a series of activities that promote the visit of audiences of very different ages, from primary school pupils to high school students, vocational education students and adults.
The educational proposals of the museum are the following:
Primary education: El joc de l’Horta [Huerta Game]
From 3rd to 6th grade of primary school [age 8‒11; Key Stage 2 in the UK] and 1st cycle of secondary education [age 12‒13]: El colom, la nória i la volantinera [The Dove, the Big Wheel and the Trapezist]
2nd cycle of secondary education, high school and vocational education: Enrol. La ciudad y sus habitantes [Enrol. The Town and its Inhabitants]
All ages: Guided Visits
The guided visits, adapted to all levels, offer the visitor the opportunity to approach, in a didactic and comprehensible way, any of the three sections that make up the permanent exhibition of the museum: The Town Experienced, Huerta & Marshlands, and Drylands and Mountains.
Guided tours of the temporary exhibitions are also provided.
Visits and workshops schedule:
Mornings: Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Afternoon: Tuesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Prior appointment required.
