Observe the objects closely, but please do not touch. The objects on display in the Museums form part of our heritage and will be deteriorated if we touch them. They may only be touched if expressly indicated.
Please move through the Museums quietly. If you hurry through the rooms, you may overlook some very interesting objects and also might cause an accident or bother other visitors.
Photos may only be taken without flash. The light given off by the flash spoils the objects, so it must not be used to take your photographs.
Please keep the Museums clean, as it is a public space which we must look after. There are waste baskets provided to this end.
Speak in a normal tone with your friends or companions so as not to bother the rest of the visitors.
If you need a support surface to lean on to write, please do not use the casing glass. Use your folder or ask for the small boards available for this purpose from the concierge.
If you come with children, please make sure that they are always beside you. This way you can explain the exhibition to them, interesting them in details which they might forget.
Please switch your mobile phone to “silent” mode when you enter the exhibition rooms.
There is a set of “Obligatory Rules” at your disposal which you can consult if in any doubt.
Large objects may not be taken into the exhibition halls (bags, umbrellas, plastic bags, backpacks, helmets, etc.). Please leave these items with the concierge.
Entry to the Centre with balls, skates, tricycles, bicycles, shopping trolleys or other similar objects is not allowed.
No animals are allowed to enter the Centre, except for guide dogs.
Food and drink may only be consumed in the landscaped garden areas. A room is available for breast-feeding purposes.
Photographs may be taken in the permanent exhibition halls, except with flash and tripod, as long as they are not used for commercial aims and/or in publications. In special cases, authorisation may be requested from the museum management. In temporary exhibitions, please consult the application of these rules at the Information Point.
Filming is not permitted.
Touching objects in the exhibitions is not allowed unless authorised by the room staff.
In accordance with law 28/2005, smoking is forbidden in all Centre facilities.
In accordance with article 23 of law 04/2003 of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Government), the Centre reserves the right of admission.
Complaint forms are available to the visitors.
Please follow the indications of the Centre personnel in compliance with these rules.
